Ingersoll Rand SimplAir EPL Quick-Fit Aluminium Pipe System

The Ingersoll Rand SimplAir EPL (Easy Pipe Line) is a quick-fit compressed air piping system for compressed air, nitrogen, argon and other inert gases, and vacuum. The pipe is seamless extruded EN AW-6060 aluminium, T6 heat treated and powder coated in QUALICOAT RAL 5015 blue with a flame-retardant finish, and the smooth internal bore keeps pressure drop under 5% across the sizing range and avoids the rust contamination of galvanised or carbon steel lines.

The quick-fit range covers 20, 25, 32, 40 and 63 mm pipe with engineered HPR polymer fittings, brass valves and wall elbows, and aluminium sockets, sealed with NBR O-rings (Viton on request); the full SimplAir EPL catalogue extends the system up to 158 mm. The system is rated for 13 bar g working pressure between -10 °C and +60 °C, and flows up to 23.3 m³/min.

Fittings are tightened by hand with a tactile stop point that prevents over-tightening, so no tools are required and components can be dismantled and reused when a line is extended or moved. Over 100 fitting, pipe and valve types are available with NPT and BSP connections, plus adapters for existing SL and EL systems. The system is corrosion, UV and vibration resistant, auto-extinguishing, recyclable and compliant with CE safety and health standards.
