Nederman FilterMax F Modular Dust Collector

The Nederman FilterMax F is a modular dust collector for non-explosive dry dust and fume, built as a complete filter solution for the entire workshop: grinding, cutting, welding fume and fine to medium dust. Three sizes cover 1,500 to 3,500 m³/h (F30), 3,000 to 7,000 m³/h (F60) and 4,500 to 10,000 m³/h (F90), and further filter modules can be added up to four per unit as the plant grows.

An integrated pre-separator captures up to 80% of coarse particles and heavy sparks before they reach the cartridges, extending filter life. The cartridges are 10 m² each, six, twelve or eighteen per size, in washable PTFE-impregnated spun-bond polyester at 99% efficiency at 0.5 µm or PTFE membrane at 99.9%, and are cleaned automatically by a pulse-jet system in sequence while the unit runs, using 4 to 6 bar water and oil-free compressed air at 70 N-litres a minute; the optional dP Control kit manages cleaning and alarms on high pressure drop. Dust collects in two 40 litre containers, or two 100 litre bins on wheels.

Process air is rated from 0 to +60 °C and ambient from -20 to +60 °C, with indoor (FI) and outdoor (FO) versions. For welding fume the optional W3 kit is certified to the highest welding fume category and DIN EN ISO 15012-1. The system is completed with a Nederman NCF fan, inverter, flow meter and dampers to suit the ductwork, and the leaflet notes that oily materials and thermal cutting carry a fire risk, so pre-coating and a fire extinguishing system are recommended for heavily oiled material.
