Dust Collectors

A dust collector pulls particulate out of the air at the point it’s generated — sanding, grinding, cutting — and captures it in a filter or bag rather than letting it settle across the workshop. Beyond the obvious housekeeping benefit, this is often a genuine health and safety requirement rather than a nice-to-have.

Sizing is driven by extraction volume (measured in m³/h) and the number of workstations you need connected simultaneously, so a unit that works fine for one bench might be badly undersized once you add a second or third. We size collectors against your actual floor layout rather than a generic recommendation.

Harold Engineering installs dust collection systems and can also handle the ducting and filtration to go with them.
