Whatever else a garage fit-out includes, the lift is usually the piece everything else gets planned around — bay spacing, pit or no pit, ceiling height. Get it wrong and you’re stuck with it for years, so it’s worth thinking through properly rather than defaulting to whatever’s cheapest.
Two-post suits general servicing in tight bays; four-post gives you a stable platform for alignment work and storage; scissor lifts keep a low profile for lower vehicles; mobile column sets handle heavier commercial vehicles without needing a fixed installation at all.
