Guyson T50 Rotary Basket Tumbleblast System

The Guyson T50 is an automated rotary basket Tumbleblast blast finishing machine for batches of small metal components, designed for larger volume production and higher throughput. Parts tumble in a heavy-duty rotating basket so every surface gets even exposure to the blast stream, giving efficient batch deburring, deflashing, machine mark removal, cleaning, surface preparation and cosmetic finishing with fast cycle times and repeatable quality.

Each batch can weigh up to 50 kg with a volume of up to 30 litres. Two blast guns are fitted as standard, with a third gun available as an option. A Siemens PLC with an HMI control panel makes operation simple, an internal door air wash cleans parts after blasting, and a door safety interlock, heavy-duty basket mounting and external spring-loaded hopper unload catch are standard. The machine measures 1,845 mm high, 1,300 mm wide and 1,385 mm deep. Typical applications include cosmetic finishing of non-ferrous castings, removal of light burrs and scale from die-castings and forgings, pre-treatment before coating or rubber bonding, reconditioning auto parts, glass bead peening and deflashing thermoset plastic mouldings, on fasteners, castings, machined parts, springs, pressings and forgings.
