Champion FM Series Rotary Screw Air Compressors 7.5-22 kW

The Champion FM Series is a range of oil-flooded, single-stage rotary screw air compressors with motors from 7.5 to 22 kW. Each compressor is belt driven with automatic belt tensioning, which extends belt life and reduces noise and maintenance, and is air-cooled for full performance at ambient temperatures up to 46 °C. The FM series features Tamrotor Enduro airends manufactured in Finland with computer-checked rotors, and on the FM15 to FM22 the airend integrates the air-oil separator and oil filter.

The fixed speed range covers the FM7, FM11, FM15, FM18 and FM22, available at 7, 8, 10 and 13 bar g. At 7 bar they deliver 1.14, 1.59, 2.64, 3.15 and 3.50 m³/min, and at 13 bar 0.80 to 2.59 m³/min. Motors are IE3 efficiency class with IP55 enclosures and class F insulation, and the C-PRO 2.0 controller offers continuous monitoring, Modbus communication and sequence control for up to eight compressors. Variable speed FM RS versions are also available. The compressors can be supplied base mounted, tank mounted on a 270 or 500 litre receiver, or as a complete package with a refrigeration dryer and tank. The FM7 and FM11 measure 667 × 630 × 1,050 mm and weigh 205 to 219 kg, and the FM15 to FM22 measure 787 × 698 × 1,202 mm and weigh 335 to 367 kg, with noise levels of 70 to 74 dB(A).
