Cordivari Vertical Air Receivers 270-5,000 Litres

Cordivari vertical air receivers store compressed air so that a system can draw more air than the compressor produces at any moment without a pressure drop, which stabilises pressure and reduces compressor load cycles. They are made in Italy from carbon steel, designed for air (fluid group 2) at -10 °C to +100 °C, and CE marked to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU under an external inspection body, with CE certification and user instructions supplied with each vessel.

The range runs from 100 to 900 litres at 11 or 15 bar maximum working pressure and from 1,000 to 10,000 litres at 8, 12 or 15 bar; Harold Engineering supplies the sizes from 270 to 5,000 litres that suit most Irish workshops and plants. Each receiver has a 2 inch drain and safety valve connection, air inlet and outlet connections from 1 inch on the smallest vessels to 4 inch on the largest, and 3/8 and 3/4 inch instrumentation connections for gauges and switches. A manhole or handhole can be specified on request.

Three finishes are available: painted in RAL 5002 blue as standard with light blue, red or yellow on request, hot-dip galvanised for corrosion resistance, or painted externally with an internal Polywarm food-grade coating that carries ACS attestation to EN 16421 for food and beverage applications.
