Geovent ASA-4 Extraction Arm 2 to 4 m

The Geovent ASA-4 is a lightweight aluminium extraction arm for welding fume, grinding dust and glue fumes. Three stable points and three turning points give full positioning, the external hose and aluminium duct keep pressure loss low, and the arm comes in 2, 3 and 4 m lengths with 160 or 200 mm hoods and up to 2,000 m³/h, extendable to 8 m.

The Geovent ASA-4 is an extraction arm built around manoeuvrability, ergonomics and efficiency. The arm, duct and hood are aluminium, so a 2 m arm weighs only 9 to 10 kg and a 4 m arm 11 to 12 kg, and the external hose with an aluminium duct reduces pressure loss compared with an internal hose. Three stable points and three turning points, with friction discs, plate springs and a gas spring in the inner arm, let the operator place the hood exactly where the fume is produced and leave it there.

The arm is available in 2 m, 3 m and 4 m lengths and can be extended to 8 m with extension arms. The lightweight aluminium hood has an integrated ergonomic handle and comes in powder enamel yellow RAL 1007 as standard, with custom colours available at a surcharge, in 160 mm or 200 mm diameter. Airflow is up to 2,000 m³/h depending on the diameter, with 800 to 1,000 m³/h typical for MIG and MAG welding. The arm mounts on a steel wall bracket that rotates up to 180 degrees, with a recommended minimum installation height of 2,500 mm.
