Geovent Industrial Extraction Fans

Geovent has made industrial ventilation in Denmark since 1968, and its fan range covers extraction fans for every pressure requirement: air volumes up to 55,000 m³/h, wheel sizes from Ø146 to Ø1,000 mm, and galvanised, enamelled, plastic or stainless steel execution, with high-yielding wheels matched to the application and a choice of motors and automatics on every fan. Semi-manufactured parts are held in stock, so delivery times are usually short.

For low and medium pressure duty the LSFG/MSFG range uses a forward-curving impeller in a galvanised housing, the LEF/MEF range a backward-curving B-wheel on a direct-drive flange, running up to the LEF 800, 900 and 1,000 sizes, and the EC fans give energy-efficient low to medium pressure for ducted installations. The MSQ-200 mounts directly on Geovent’s WING and COMPACT extraction arms. For high pressure process ventilation the MHF uses a closed backward-curved B-impeller.

Corrosive gases and fumes from fume cupboards, battery rooms, washers and chemical processes are handled by the LPV/MPV acid-proof plastic fans, with an antistatic polyethylene housing, polypropylene wheel, stainless fasteners, motors from 0.12 to 5.5 kW and air temperatures up to 70 °C. For hazardous areas the LEX/MEX and LSX/MSX fans and the plastic ATEX fan are built for ATEX zones 1 and 2/22. Flanges and accessories complete the installation, and a fully galvanised sound box cuts fan noise by 10 to 15 dB(A) while protecting the motor.
