Nederman NEX MD Welding Extraction Arm 2 to 5 m

The Nederman NEX MD is a top-range extraction arm built for high airflow and hotter media: very heavy welding smoke, vapours and non-explosive dust. The 160 mm hose and external arm system give a low pressure drop and high airflow, with a recommended 900 to 1,300 m³/h, a maximum fume temperature of 70 °C and a noise level of 63 to 66 dB(A). It comes in four lengths from 2 m to 5 m.

The arm is suspended on a robust swivel that rotates 360 degrees, is flexible in all directions, well balanced and easy to position, and carries a newly designed hood. The arm support mechanism is encapsulated to protect it against dirt, which matters in the applications the NEX MD is made for: welding, laser and hand plasma cutting, metal spraying and grinding that generates a lot of spatter. It mounts with a range of brackets, on extension arms or on exhaust rails, for indoor installation, and is CE certified.
