Renner RENNERconnect Compressed Air Management System

RENNERconnect is a higher-level control system in a wall-mounting box that manages and monitors a complete compressed air station. It switches compressors on according to actual air demand, running up to 16 machines regardless of type in one narrow pressure band with the same cut-in and cut-out pressure. Four adjustable pressure bands and a reduced maximum pressure are available, and Renner quotes energy savings of up to 40% from cutting idle time and load/unload cycles, optimising pressure and lowering the maximum pressure.

The system connects directly to Renner compressors fitted with RENNERtronic, RENNERtronic Plus, RENNERtronic Touch, RENNERtronic Plus Touch or RENNERlogic controllers over an RS485 bus, and to other manufacturers’ compressors through a compact connecting module. It also takes in dryers, condensate drains, dew point sensors, flow sensors and additional pressure sensors, so the whole station is visible in one place.

Every RENNERconnect includes a web server showing live measurements and operating analysis, with parameters, pressure profiles, sequences and timers adjustable remotely. Statistical reports of all parameters are produced daily, weekly or monthly, service dates are calculated from compressor operating hours, and the data can serve as an energy management tool under DIN ISO 50001. The Webserver Plus option adds automatic forwarding of daily reports and email alerts for faults, warnings, maintenance and crossed pressure, dew point or temperature limits. A 10 inch touchscreen version and the simpler RENNERconnect Easy complete the range.
