Robur AY Outdoor Condensing Boiler 34 to 100 kW

The Robur AY is a modulating condensing boiler built for outdoor installation, producing hot water for space heating and domestic hot water. Robur designs it as a complement to its gas absorption heat pumps such as the GAHP Plus, covering peak heat demand where climate or running costs make it worthwhile. Three sizes are available: the AY 35, AY 50 and AY 100, with nominal heat inputs of 34.0, 50.0 and 99.8 kW. The AY 100 is built from two thermal modules working in parallel, each with its own pump and flue outlet.

Each unit uses a stainless steel spiral single-tube heat exchanger and a premix modulating burner with a modulation ratio of 1:9 on the AY 35, 1:10 on the AY 50 and 1:20 on the AY 100. Efficiency at 80/60 °C is 98.2 to 98.5%, and the boilers deliver water up to 88 °C at a maximum operating pressure of 3 bar. A high-efficiency pump, expansion tank and safety valve are built in. The casing is rated IP X5D with UV resistant finish, and the boilers run in outdoor air from -25 °C to 45 °C on natural gas or LPG with NOx class 6 emissions. Units can be controlled by a Robur DDC controller, which manages one or more Robur appliances, or by an external request contact, with a 0-10 V input on the AY 35 and AY 50.
